Hindi Vowels Part 1 (हिंदी स्वर भाग 1) teaches the first six Hindi vowels, अ आ इ ई उ ऊ, as three short and long pairs: अ–आ, इ–ई and उ–ऊ. Children hear each sound, say it, sing it, colour it, make something from it and then write it, using picture words like अनार, आम, इमली, ईंट, उल्लू and ऊँट.

Each vowel has its own eight pages: teacher notes with cut-out flashcards, a song and action page, a four-picture story, a colour-the-first-sound page, a paper craft, a finger-then-pencil tracing page and two practice pages. Pages carry a level badge (warm-up, challenge or expert), so a child can start easy and grow into harder tasks.
