Hindi Vowels Part 2 teaches ऋ, ए, ऐ, ओ and औ, plus the two signs shown with अ: अं and अः (विसर्ग). Children hear, say, act out, colour, make and write each sound with picture words like ऋषि, एकतारा, ऐनक, ओखली, औज़ार, अंगूर and प्रातः.

Each of the first six letters has eight pages: teacher notes with cut-out flashcards, a song and action page, a four-picture story, a colour-the-first-sound page, a paper craft, a finger-then-pencil writing page and two practice pages (fix the letter, find the letter, then write alone). अः has five pages.

The pack also has a parent's guide, eight play ideas, a varnmala sound mat, a listen-and-speak page, revision, a board game, bingo, speaking cards, a progress chart, a certificate and an answer key. The colour edition and the black-and-white colour-in edition are both included.

Instructions are in Hindi with English support, so it suits Hindi-speaking families and children learning Hindi as a second or heritage language. It continues Hindi Vowels Part 1 (अ आ इ ई उ ऊ) but can be used on its own. ए–ऐ and ओ–औ are taught as different vowels, and ऋ is shown with its everyday sound 'ri'.
