Is It a Fair Test? Claims, Adverts and Paper Helicopters
Children sort statements into fact, opinion or 'test it', question a '9 out of 10 kids' advert (who asked, how many?), then plan and run a fair test. They fold two paper helicopters that differ only in wing length, keep everything else the same and record three drops each.

How to use this worksheet
Do the claim check first. Question the advert, then cut and fold helicopters A and B. Fill in what you change, keep the same and measure, and record drop times for each.

Extension activities
- 1Drop the helicopters from a staircase and time them together.
