Product Details

Navratri Festival Quest is a printable Navratri activity pack for children aged 7 to 11 (Class 2 to Class 6, Grades 2 to 5). It has 20 pages: a cover, 17 activity pages, a certificate of achievement and an answer key with worked answers for grown-ups.

The pages start with the festival itself: how Navratri is celebrated across India (Garba, Durga Puja, Golu, Ramlila and Mysuru Dasara), the nine forms of Durga, and the legend of Durga and Mahishasura with questions at three levels. A colour calendar for Navratri 2026 (Sunday 11 to Monday 19 October, with Dussehra on Tuesday 20 October) gives children real dates to work with.

Most pages are maths and thinking puzzles set at the festival: multiplying, dividing and spending at the mela, planning garba night with time, a budget, perimeter and area, reading a bar chart, a lunar calendar puzzle, fractions, percentages and chance with the nine colours, a logic grid, a sudoku, a number pyramid, a pixel rangoli and balance puzzles. There is also a coding page, a word search with a secret code, a crossword and word scramble, and 12 cut-out quiz cards for the family.

Two hands-on pages bring in science and engineering: a garba-pot light experiment with a paper cup and a torch, and a paper-strip pandal tower and strong-shape test. Creative pages ask children to design a festival outfit, reflect a symmetry rangoli and write an acrostic poem. Activity pages are marked Warm-up, Challenge or Expert, often section by section, so younger children can stop at their level and older ones can go further.

The pack comes in two editions with the same pages: a colour edition and a black-and-white edition with line-art pictures that use less ink and can be coloured in. Print on A4 or Letter paper.
