How to use this worksheet
Have your child cut out each of the four life cycle flashcards using child-safe scissors. Lay the cards out together and talk through what is happening at each stage, from the tiny egg to the fully grown butterfly. Ask your child to arrange the cards in the correct order, from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly. Use the ordered cards to retell the whole life cycle story together, pointing to each stage as you describe what's happening.
