How to use this worksheet
First, have your child cut out each decoration piece along its outline — ornaments, a star, candy canes, or string lights — using child-safe scissors. Next, look together at the reference picture of a decorated tree so they know roughly how the finished page should look. Let them apply a thin layer of glue to the back of each piece and press it onto the bare tree outline, spacing the decorations across the branches. Finish by having them add any final touches with crayons, like a glow around the star or snow at the base.

- 1Decorate a real small tree branch or houseplant with paper ornaments your child cuts out themselves.
