Festive Sequence Maze Worksheet for Kids
This maze asks children ages 3-5 to follow a repeating pattern of festive objects — lantern, flower, diya, rocket — to find the correct path, combining pattern recognition with the fine motor control needed to trace a route through a maze. Because the correct path depends on spotting the pattern rather than simply avoiding walls, children practice logical sequencing alongside pencil control. How to use this worksheet
Point out the row of festive objects at the top of the maze and say their names together: lantern, flower, diya, rocket. Ask your child to look for that same repeating order as they trace a path from the start of the maze to the finish, choosing only the route that follows the pattern. Let them use a finger first to test different paths before committing to a pencil line. Once they find the correct route, have them trace it carefully from start to finish.

Tips for parents and teachers
If your child chooses a wrong turn, ask them to name the last object they passed and what should logically come next in the pattern, rather than pointing out the mistake directly. This age group often wants to follow the shortest visual path rather than the pattern-correct one, so remind them the pattern is the real guide. Saying the sequence aloud while tracing helps lock in both the pattern and the festival vocabulary.
