Lifecycle Circle Book: Cut and Paste Worksheet
This worksheet gives children ages 3-5 practice matching pictures to the correct stage of an animal's life cycle while assembling a hands-on circular book. How to use this worksheet
Look at the pictures with your child and talk through what each one shows before any cutting begins. Have them cut out the circles and match each picture to the correct stage as you name it together. Glue the circles in the right rotating order to build the lifecycle book, checking as you go that no stage is out of place. When finished, let your child use the assembled book to retell the animal's story in their own words.

Tips for parents and teachers
If your child pastes a stage out of order, let them notice the mistake themselves by asking them to retell the story using the book — the gap usually becomes obvious. Keep glue amounts small since young children often overuse it, which can make the circles hard to spin later. This is a great worksheet to revisit with a different animal topic to reinforce that all living things follow some kind of growth pattern.
