How to use this worksheet

Look at each stick figure face together and describe what you notice, like a wide open mouth or furrowed eyebrows. Read the list of emotion words aloud — happy, sad, angry, surprised — and ask your child to draw a line from each face to its matching word. Once every face is matched, have your child practice making that same expression themselves and check it in a mirror. Finish by coloring the stick figures, choosing whichever colors feel right for that mood.
