The Sudoku Safe: Picture Sudoku and 4x4 Number Sudoku Puzzle
Children solve a 4x4 picture Sudoku using crown, gem, key and vase tiles, then use each treasure's number to read the safe's code. A second 4x4 number Sudoku opens a second lock. Both puzzles teach 'use what you know to find what you do not know'.

How to use this worksheet
Cut out the ten treasure tiles. Place them on the safe door first, and glue only when sure. Read the treasures in squares A to D to make the safe code. Then try the number Sudoku and circle the numbers that make code two.
