How to use this worksheet
Point to the large dotted Y at the top of the page and show your child where the two diagonal lines meet the vertical line, since Y's stroke order can confuse beginners. Have them trace over the dotted Y with a pencil or crayon, starting each stroke at the dot and following the arrows. Once they've traced the guided letters, let them try writing Y independently on the blank lines below, comparing their letter to the traced ones. Finish by coloring any pictures on the page, naming each one aloud together.
