Halloween & Fall Activity Pack: Counting, Puzzles & Crafts for Ages 4-8

Halloween & Fall Fun is a printable activity pack for children aged 4 to 8 (preschool, kindergarten, LKG, UKG and early primary). It has 30 pages: a cover with a contents list, an All About Autumn read-aloud page, 26 activity pages, a certificate of achievement and an answer key for grown-ups.

The pages follow the season. Children learn why leaves change colour and what Halloween is, then count spiders, sweets and pumpkins, match shadows, finish patterns, join the dots to make a spider web, sort apples by size and colour, and solve spooky addition and take-away sums. A Treat Count page turns counting into a picture graph, and a Maze, Seek & Spot page adds a pumpkin patch maze, seek and count and odd one out. Pumpkin Shapes & Sizes orders pumpkins and counts the shapes on jack-o'-lanterns, and Squirrel's Acorn Maths adds acorns, compares leaves with >, < and =, and ends with a picture sudoku.

Older children can go further with a fall crossword, missing-letter spooky words, a word scramble, a Halloween word search, an Autumn Words & Rhymes page (rhymes, syllable clapping and a spooky sentence) and a Name the Bones page about the human skeleton. Two craft pages let them cut out a skeleton and join it with split pins or thread, and there are colouring, drawing and dice games for quieter moments.

Each activity is marked Warm-up, Challenge or Expert, so a 4-year-old can start with the easy pages and a 7- or 8-year-old can take on the puzzles. Everything is friendly rather than scary, uses British spelling, and works at home, in the classroom or for a Halloween party table. The certificate and answer key share the last sheet when printed double-sided. Print in colour or use the black-and-white colour-in edition, or print only the pages you need.
