How to use this worksheet
Cut out the character cards and, if you like, tape or glue each one to a popsicle stick to make a simple puppet set. Let your child choose a stick at random and act out that character — how it moves, what sound it makes, how it might feel. Once they're comfortable acting solo, add a second player and take turns performing while the other guesses the character.

Extension activities
- 1Use two different voices for the same character to explore happy versus grumpy versions.
- 2Line up three or four cards and act them out back-to-back as a tiny 'show'.
- 3Ask 'what does this character eat/do all day?' before acting, to build the idea further.
- 4Record a short video of the performance and watch it back together.
- 5Swap cards with a sibling or friend so everyone acts out a character they didn't pick.
