How to use this worksheet
Cut apart the picture cards and turn them face down in a pile, or thread them onto popsicle sticks so they stand up like puppets. Have your child pick one card at a time and act out exactly what's shown — the movement, the sound, the expression — before revealing the next. For a group version, deal a few cards to each player and take turns guessing who's acting out what.

Extension activities
- 1Freeze the action mid-movement when you call out 'freeze!' and see if they can hold the pose.
- 2Add a matching sound effect to each role — a trumpet for the elephant, a squeak for the mouse.
- 3Play the cards as a mirror game: one person acts, the other copies in real time.
- 4String several cards into a short story: 'First I was a lion, then I turned into a bird.'
- 5Take turns being the 'director' who picks which card the other person acts out next.
