How to use this worksheet
Start with the blend words activity, sounding out a few consonant blends together before reading a simple story aloud, pointing to the words as you go. Move into the chocolate shake experiment, following the steps together to measure and mix the ingredients, talking about how the ingredients combine. Next, explore capacity by pouring water into different glasses and comparing how full each one looks. Finish with the dissolving experiment, adding food coloring or another substance to water and observing what happens as it disappears into the liquid.
