Summer Sudoku: Cut and Paste Worksheet for Kids
This worksheet combines cutting and pasting with logical puzzle-solving for children ages 4-6, who must cut out small summer images and paste each one into the correct empty square of a Sudoku grid so no image repeats in any row, column, or smaller square. How to use this worksheet
Look at the Sudoku grid together first and identify which summer images are already placed, explaining the rule that no image can repeat in any row, column, or smaller square. Help your child cut out the small images at the bottom of the page carefully along the lines using child-safe scissors. Work through the empty squares one at a time, figuring out together which image belongs in each spot before your child glues it into place with a glue stick or tape.
