How to use this worksheet
Look at each 3D shape pictured on the worksheet together and identify its name, like cube, sphere, or cone. Have your child count the flat faces, the straight edges, and the pointed vertices (corners) on each shape, writing the totals in the blanks provided. Give your child playdough and ask them to mold a matching version of one shape, then recount its vertices, edges, and faces on their own creation. Compare their playdough shape's counts to what they wrote on the worksheet to check for accuracy.
