This worksheet has children ages 4-5 identify and write CVCC words by coloring the correct letters shown in letter boxes and then writing the complete word based on a picture cue. How to use this worksheet
Look at the picture together and say the word slowly, sounding out all four letters including the ending consonant blend. Have your child color the letters in the letter boxes that spell out the word correctly. Once the letters are colored, guide them to write the complete word in the space provided, sounding it out one more time as they write.
