Funny Clown Craft: Cut and Paste Worksheet for Kids
Curling colorful paper strips into loops and gluing the ends together builds a different kind of fine motor control than straight cutting — bending, holding, and pinching paper into a curved shape while applying glue — which strengthens hand coordination in a new way. Assembling the finished clown from these loops also reinforces color recognition and the idea of building something bigger from repeated smaller pieces.

How to use this worksheet
Cut out the colorful paper strips along their lines. Curl each strip into a loop and glue the two ends together, holding it in place for a few seconds until it sets. Once all the loops are dry, glue them onto the page to form the clown's body or ruffled collar as shown in the picture. Finish by gluing on the clown's face and hat at the top.
Materials needed
- Scissors
- Glue
- Crayons (optional)
Extension activities
- 1Draw a new clown face with a funny expression and describe what makes it silly.
- 2Make up a short clown-themed song or rhyme and perform it together.
- 3Sort the paper strips by color before cutting and talk about the color pattern.
- 4Try curling a strip of paper into a spiral instead of a simple loop for a different shape.
- 5Put on a mini 'circus show' at home featuring the finished clown craft as a puppet.

Trace the Numbers 1-9 Worksheet for Preschoolers
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
Tracing the numerals 1 through 9 gives children ages 3-5 repeated, guided practice with the specific pencil strokes each number requires, building the fine motor control and muscle memory needed for independent number writing. Because tracing follows a fixed, correct path, it also reinforces accurate numeral recognition, helping children tell visually similar digits apart.
Caterpillar Counting Worksheet for Preschoolers
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
Counting the segments of each caterpillar teaches children ages 3-5 one-to-one correspondence — touching or marking each segment exactly once while saying a number — which is the core skill underlying accurate counting. Writing the final total in a box also connects the physical act of counting to its written numeral, reinforcing early number-writing practice.

Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This dice-counting maze gives children ages 3-5 repeated practice matching a rolled number to the correct number of moves, reinforcing accurate counting under a bit of playful pressure. Tracking Pac-Man's current position after each roll also builds short-term spatial memory, since children must remember where they left off before moving again.
