How to use this worksheet
Guide your child to trace the uppercase U first, following the curved dotted line in one smooth motion, then repeat with the lowercase u. Have them practice writing the letter U freehand on the lines provided. Look at the row of pictures together, saying each name aloud, and have your child circle the ones that start with the letter U. Finish by coloring the letter U shapes and the circled pictures.

Tips for parents and teachers

U words are less common than other letters, so take extra time helping them think of examples.
