How to use this worksheet
Have your child trace the letter Z along the dotted lines, describing the motion as 'across, down, across' to capture its three straight strokes. Have them practice writing the letter Z on the lines provided, checking that the diagonal stroke goes the right direction. Look at the pictures together, saying each name aloud, and have your child circle the ones that start with the letter Z. Finish by coloring both the capital and small letter Z shapes.
