How to use this worksheet
Look at each picture together and identify the two objects shown and how they're positioned relative to each other. Ask your child whether the object is over or under the other, encouraging them to say the word aloud. Have them tick the picture if the object is over something, or cross it if it's under something, working through the page one picture at a time. Review the page together, asking your child to explain a few of their answers.

- 1Go on a scavenger hunt around the house finding things that are 'over' something and things that are 'under' something.
- 2Play a simple game where you hide a toy over or under furniture and your child has to find it based on your clue.
- 3Draw your own pictures showing one object over another and one object under another.
- 4Use a table or chair to physically demonstrate 'over' by reaching above it and 'under' by crawling beneath it.
