What Do You Like? Conversation Worksheet for Kids
Ages 3-5 are learning to move from single words to full thoughts, and this 'What Do You Like?' worksheet gives them structured practice putting a preference into words. Looking at a picture prompt and answering 'I like...' builds expressive vocabulary and the confidence to speak up in a group, both key pre-literacy and social-emotional milestones at this age. It also introduces the back-and-forth rhythm of real conversation rather than just naming objects.

How to use this worksheet
Sit with your child and look at each picture prompt together, naming what is shown out loud. Ask 'Do you like this?' and encourage them to answer in a full sentence, such as 'I like ice cream' or 'I don't like rain.' Have them draw or circle their answer where indicated, then color the picture once they've said their choice aloud. Take turns so your child also gets to ask you the same question, practicing the conversational exchange in both directions.
Materials needed
- Pencil
- Crayons
Extension activities
- 1Play a 'favorites' game at dinner where everyone shares one thing they like and one they don't, going around the table.
- 2Make a simple 'All About Me' poster with drawings of your child's favorite food, color, and animal.
- 3Set up a pretend phone call and have your child 'tell' a stuffed animal what they like using full sentences.
- 4Ask a grandparent or relative to video-call and ask your child the same 'what do you like' questions for real practice.
- 5Create a matching game where your child sorts picture cards into 'like' and 'don't like' piles.

Trace the Numbers 1-9 Worksheet for Preschoolers
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
Tracing the numerals 1 through 9 gives children ages 3-5 repeated, guided practice with the specific pencil strokes each number requires, building the fine motor control and muscle memory needed for independent number writing. Because tracing follows a fixed, correct path, it also reinforces accurate numeral recognition, helping children tell visually similar digits apart.
CVC Train Worksheet: Write and Build CVC Words!
Ages 4-6 · Pre-K–KindergartenAges 4-6 · Reception–Year 1Ages 4-6 · LKG–UKGAges 4-6
This worksheet gives children ages 4-6 focused practice blending letter sounds into consonant-vowel-consonant words, using train-car pictures as clues for words like 'dog,' 'hen,' or 'cup.' Because children both write the word and can optionally build it with Lego blocks, this worksheet reinforces the same phonics skill through two different physical actions — handwriting and hands-on construction — which helps the spelling patterns stick.

Writing consonant-vowel-consonant words like 'cat,' 'sun,' or 'pig' under matching pictures gives children ages 4-6 direct practice with letter-sound blending, a core phonics skill that underpins independent reading. Because each train car pairs a picture clue with a blank space, children also practice translating a spoken word they can sound out into its correctly spelled written form.
