How to use this worksheet
Look at the instructions or numbered guide together to see how many fingerprints are needed to form the caterpillar's body. Dip a finger in paint and press it onto the paper to create the first print, then continue adding prints one at a time, counting aloud as you go, to build the caterpillar's segmented body and tail. Once the fingerprint caterpillar is complete, let the paint dry before adding any extra details like eyes or antennae. Count the total number of fingerprints together once the caterpillar is finished.
