How to use this worksheet
First, have your child trace the letter R along the dotted lines, describing its strokes as 'straight down, loop, then kick out.' Then, have them circle all the letter Rs in the given set of letters, scanning carefully since R can look similar to other letters at a glance. Finally, look at the pictures together and have your child color the ones that begin with the letter R, saying each word aloud first.
