How to use this worksheet
Start with the uppercase W, tracing the dotted zigzag shape first with a finger and then a pencil, pointing out the four connected diagonal lines. Move on to naming and coloring the pictures on the page that begin with the letter W, saying the /w/ sound clearly each time. Then guide your child to the lowercase w, noticing how it looks like two connected rounded dips rather than sharp points. Finish by having them trace the letter W again independently on the practice lines provided.
