How to use this worksheet
Help your child paint their hand with two or three colors, then press it firmly onto the paper in the spot shown for the butterfly wings, repeating with the second hand to complete both wings. While the paint dries, look at the shapes to be cut out, the body, antennae, or extra wing decorations, and name each one. Have your child cut out these shapes and glue them onto the dried handprint wings to complete the butterfly. Finish with crayons to add extra spots or patterns to make the butterfly their own.
