How to use this worksheet
Look at the Rangoli design together first, pointing out its symmetrical patterns and the colors indicated around the outline. Have your child choose the correct crayon or colored pencil to match the color shown for each section, working through the design piece by piece rather than randomly. Encourage them to color slowly and stay within the lines of each small pattern, especially in the more detailed inner sections. Once finished, admire the completed design together and talk about how the colors and patterns create symmetry.
