How to use this worksheet
Look at the animal pictures at the bottom of the page together and name each one, mentioning anything your child already knows about where it lives. Point out the cold-climate scene on the main page and talk about what makes it cold — snow, ice, or a frozen landscape. Have your child cut out each animal picture and glue it into the scene, checking together that each animal they add is one that truly lives in a cold environment. Finish by asking your child to name their favorite cold-climate animal from the page and say one fact about it.
