How to use this worksheet
Look at the first number on the page together and ask your child to count up from one to reach it, so they have a clear sense of where it sits in the number sequence. Have them write the number that comes right before it in the first box, then the number that comes right after it in the second box. Check each answer by counting aloud together, like 'four, five, six,' before moving to the next number on the page. Continue through the remaining numbers, encouraging independence as they get comfortable with the pattern.
