How to use this worksheet
Look at the pictured objects together and talk about what texture each one might have if you touched it in real life. Have your child circle the objects they believe are rough, and separately circle the ones that are smooth, discussing their reasoning as they go. Once all objects are circled, have them count the total number of rough objects and write that number in the box, then repeat for the smooth objects. Finish by comparing the two totals and discussing which texture had more objects.
