How to use this worksheet
Look at the hot climate scene together first, discussing what it looks like and why animals living there might need special features, like the ability to handle heat with little water. Have your child cut out each animal picture carefully along the lines. One at a time, ask them to decide if the animal belongs in the hot climate scene, then glue it into place if it matches. Once finished, review the completed scene together, naming each animal and discussing how it survives in a hot environment.
