Pattern Recognition Worksheet: Cut and Paste the Next Picture!
This worksheet builds pattern recognition for children ages 3-5 by having them identify a repeating sequence in each row and then cut out and glue the picture that correctly continues it. How to use this worksheet
Look at the first row of pictures together and say each item aloud in order, listening for the repeating pattern. Ask your child what picture should logically come next to continue that pattern. Have them find the matching picture among the cutout options at the bottom, cut it out, and glue it into the empty box. Repeat this process for each row, encouraging your child to explain the pattern before choosing their answer.
