How to use this worksheet
Read the first sentence aloud together, pointing out the noun being described and asking what word tells more about it. Have your child circle the adjective in that sentence, the describing word like 'big,' 'red,' or 'fluffy.' Continue through each remaining sentence the same way, encouraging your child to explain what the adjective adds to the sentence's meaning before moving on.
