How to use this worksheet
Look at the group of numbered hearts together and read each number aloud with your child. Ask them to find the smallest number first and identify it before writing it in the first space of the ordered list. Continue by asking 'which number is next smallest?' until all the numbers from that heart group have been written in ascending order. Repeat this process for each new set of hearts on the page, checking the finished order together by reading it left to right.

- 1Write five random numbers on paper hearts and have your child physically arrange the cutouts in order on the table or floor.
