How to use this worksheet
Point to the first caterpillar and count its body segments aloud together, touching each one as you say the number. Once you reach the last segment, help your child write that total number in the box beside the caterpillar. Move to the next caterpillar and repeat, encouraging your child to count more independently each time. For extra practice, use fingerpaint, pom-poms, or clips to mark each segment as it's counted.
