How to use this worksheet
Start by looking at the four color boxes at the top of the page, Yellow, Orange, Red, and Green, and naming each color together. Have your child carefully cut out the pictures at the bottom of the page along the lines, offering help as needed. One at a time, ask your child to hold up a cut-out picture, name its color, and decide which labeled box it belongs in. Once they've sorted correctly, have them glue each picture into its matching color box, pressing firmly to secure it.

Extension activities
- 1Go on a color hunt around the house, collecting small items in each of the four colors to sort into piles.
- 2Use playdough to roll and shape small balls in yellow, orange, red, and green, then sort them the same way.
- 3Read a picture book focused on colors and pause to name each color as it appears.
- 4Set out laundry or toys and ask your child to sort them by color before putting them away.
- 5Create a simple color wheel craft using construction paper scraps in the four featured colors.
