This sensory pretend-shaving activity builds fine motor precision and hand control in children ages 3-5, as they draw a beard with a marker and then carefully brush away shaving foam in controlled strokes. How to use this worksheet
Lay a transparent sheet over the printed face so marker won't stain the worksheet. Let your child draw a beard onto the sheet using a washable marker, covering as much of the chin and cheeks as they like. Spread a layer of shaving foam over the drawn beard, then hand your child a small brush. Guide them to 'shave' in gentle, controlled strokes, wiping the foam away to reveal the bare face underneath, just like watching Dad shave in the mirror.
