How to use this worksheet
Look at the shapes provided together and talk about what part of the boat each one might represent. Help your child cut out each shape carefully along its outline, offering to steady the paper if needed. Once all the pieces are cut, lay them out on the background page to plan where each shape will go before gluing anything down. Glue each shape into place one at a time, checking that the boat takes shape as expected, and let your child add color with crayons or markers once finished if they'd like.
