How to use this worksheet

Look at the picture on the first train car together and say the word slowly, stretching out each sound — like 'c...a...t.' Help your child identify the three sounds and write the matching letters in the space provided on that train car. Move to the next car and repeat, encouraging your child to sound out more of each word independently as they go. For extra reinforcement, use Lego blocks or letter tiles to physically build each word before writing it.
