Fill the Sequence Worksheet for Preschoolers
This two-part worksheet has children ages 3-5 first fill in missing numbers within a counting sequence and then cut out and paste the correct completed sequence, combining number-order recognition with fine motor cutting and pasting practice. Understanding that numbers follow a fixed, unchanging order is a critical foundation for counting accurately and, later, for addition and subtraction.

How to use this worksheet
Look at the first number sequence together and count aloud from the beginning, pausing at each blank to ask your child what number belongs there before they write it in. Complete all the sequences on the page this way, always counting from the start rather than guessing the gap in isolation. Move to the cut-and-paste section, where your child cuts out the sequence options at the bottom of the page and identifies which one is in the correct order. Once they've chosen correctly, have them glue that sequence into the matching space.
Materials needed
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Extension activities
- 1Write a number sequence with a deliberate gap on a whiteboard and let your child be the 'teacher' who fills it in for you.
- 2Use number cards or sticky notes to build a sequence on the floor, then remove one and ask your child to find the missing number from a shuffled pile.
- 3Count stairs, footsteps, or claps together, pausing partway through to ask what number comes next.
- 4Cut a printed number line into strips and have your child reassemble it in the correct order.
- 5Play a simple board game with numbered squares and ask your child to predict which number they'll land on next.

Present Tense Worksheet: Fill in the Blanks and Identify Sentences!
Ages 4-6 · Pre-K–KindergartenAges 4-6 · Reception–Year 1Ages 4-6 · LKG–UKGAges 4-6
This worksheet gives children ages 4-6 focused practice with present tense verbs, both producing them correctly in fill-in-the-blank sentences and recognizing them when identifying whether a given sentence is written in the present tense. Distinguishing tense is an important grammar milestone that helps children communicate clearly about what is happening right now versus what already happened, a distinction they're actively sorting out in their own speech at this age.
Shapes Worksheet: Cut and Paste, Complete the Sequence!
Ages 4-5 · Pre-KAges 4-5 · ReceptionAges 4-5 · LKGAges 4-5
This worksheet combines shape identification with pattern completion, asking children ages 4-5 to cut out and paste shapes into matching boxes and then draw the missing shape needed to finish a simple sequence. Together these tasks build geometric vocabulary, precise cutting and gluing control, and the logical reasoning needed to predict what comes next in a repeating pattern.
Material Properties Worksheet for Kids: Matching and Identifying
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This early science worksheet introduces children ages 3-5 to the idea that materials have distinct physical properties — like hardness, brittleness, or elasticity — and that everyday objects can be grouped based on how they look, feel, or behave. Matching objects to their correct property builds observational and classification skills, which are foundational scientific thinking tools long before formal science instruction begins. Talking through why a rubber band stretches while a plate breaks helps children start noticing cause-and-effect patterns in the physical world around them.
Parent's Guide: Verbs, Tenses, and Vocabulary Fun!
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
This guide strings together several short language activities - building adjective flashcards, identifying verb tenses, and running a simple sink-or-float experiment - to introduce children ages 3-5 to descriptive vocabulary and the idea that verbs change form depending on when an action happens. The hands-on water experiment doubles as a vocabulary builder, since children practice new describing words like 'floats' and 'sinks' while observing real cause and effect.
Addition Worksheet: Find and Write Equations!
Ages 4-6 · Pre-K–KindergartenAges 4-6 · Reception–Year 1Ages 4-6 · LKG–UKGAges 4-6
Writing an addition equation from a picture — rather than solving one that's already written — asks children ages 4-6 to translate a visual quantity into mathematical symbols, a more demanding skill than simply computing a given sum. This worksheet has children count grouped objects, represent what they see as a written equation, and then solve it, connecting concrete counting to abstract number sentences. Practicing this translation step is exactly what builds true number sense, rather than just memorized addition facts.
Cut and Paste Body Parts Worksheet for Preschoolers
Ages 4-6 · Pre-K–KindergartenAges 4-6 · Reception–Year 1Ages 4-6 · LKG–UKGAges 4-6
This worksheet helps children ages 4-6 learn to name and correctly place major body parts by cutting them out and pasting each one onto the right location on a body outline. Physically assembling a body diagram builds body awareness and vocabulary at the same time, while the cutting and gluing sharpens fine motor precision that supports later handwriting.
Tenses in Verbs Worksheet: Tick & Write the Correct Option!
Ages 4-6 · Pre-K–KindergartenAges 4-6 · Reception–Year 1Ages 4-6 · LKG–UKGAges 4-6
This worksheet has children ages 4-6 practice identifying whether a sentence describes a past, present, or future action, ticking the correct verb tense option and then writing it into the sentence. Distinguishing between tenses is a core grammar skill that helps children eventually narrate their own experiences accurately, whether describing something that already happened or something they plan to do.
Possessive Pronouns Worksheet: Circle and Match!
Ages 3-5 · Preschool–Pre-KAges 3-5 · Nursery–ReceptionAges 3-5 · Nursery–LKGAges 3-5
Possessive pronouns like 'mine,' 'hers,' and 'theirs' are an abstract grammar concept for children ages 3-5, since they require understanding that a single word can stand in for a whole phrase about ownership — 'that ball is hers' instead of 'that ball belongs to her.' This worksheet builds early grammar awareness by having children match possessive pronouns to sentences and pictures, giving them concrete visual context for what could otherwise be a confusing abstract idea. Early, low-pressure exposure to pronouns like this supports both oral language development and the sentence-building skills needed for writing later on.

Sequencing Numbers Train Worksheet for Preschoolers
Ages 4-5 · Pre-KAges 4-5 · ReceptionAges 4-5 · LKGAges 4-5
Writing numbers 0-20 into a sequence of train cars pushes children ages 4-5 to internalize the full early counting range in fixed order, not just recite it aloud, which is a meaningfully different and more durable skill. Filling in the numbers by hand also builds numeral formation alongside sequencing, so children practice both remembering what comes next and writing it correctly. The train-car visual keeps a fairly long numeric range broken into manageable, engaging chunks rather than one intimidating list.
