How to use this worksheet
Start with the matching section: have your child cut out each shape from the right side of the page, naming it aloud before gluing it into the box with the matching outline. Once the matching is complete, move to the sequence section, where your child looks at a row of shapes repeating in a pattern with one shape missing. Ask them to figure out which shape belongs in the gap by saying the pattern aloud, then have them draw that shape in the empty space. Check each completed row together, reading the pattern from start to finish.
