How to use this worksheet
Have your child trace the dotted uppercase P first with a finger, feeling the shape before picking up a pencil to trace it on paper. Move to the lowercase p using the same finger-then-pencil approach, pointing out how the two letters look different in size and shape. After tracing, look at the pictures on the page together, naming each one and emphasizing the /p/ sound at the start. Finish by having your child color the pictures that begin with the letter P.
