How to use this worksheet
First, review the color key at the bottom of the page together so your child knows which color stands for M, which for K, and which for S. Go through the animal pictures one at a time, saying each animal's name slowly and stretching out the very first sound, such as 'mmm-onkey.' Once your child identifies the beginning letter, have them color the circle next to that picture using the matching color from the key. Continue until every animal has been sounded out and colored correctly.
