How to use this worksheet
Look at the dotted uppercase R and lowercase r together and talk about the parts: a straight line, then a round bump, then a slanted leg kicking out. Have your child trace the dotted letters slowly, following any arrows that show where to start each stroke. Move on to the blank practice lines and let them write R and r independently, comparing their letters to the traced ones. End by naming a few words that begin with R, like rainbow or rabbit.
