How to use this worksheet
Look at the first moon diagram together and talk about which side is lit by the sun and which side is in shadow. Have your child shade in the part of the moon that doesn't receive light. Then ask them to draw what that phase looks like when viewed from Earth in the box provided. Repeat for each moon phase shown, naming each one aloud — new moon, crescent, half moon, full moon — as you go.
