Practice Sheet for Kids: Blank Grid Worksheet
This open blank grid gives children ages 3-5 a flexible space to practice handwriting readiness, drawing, or early patterning, without a fixed correct answer to work toward. How to use this worksheet
Decide together what your child will practice in the grid today, whether that's letters they're currently learning, numbers, simple shapes, or a repeating pattern. Demonstrate the first square yourself so your child has a model to follow, then let them work through the remaining squares with a pencil, crayon, or marker. Check in periodically to see how they're managing to stay within each square's boundaries, offering encouragement or a light correction as needed.
