How to use this worksheet
Sprinkle pepper across the surface of water in a bowl and ask your child what they think will happen when a soapy finger touches it. Have them dip one finger in plain water first and notice that the pepper barely moves. Then dip a different finger in soap and touch it to the water's surface, watching the pepper scatter outward immediately. Talk through what happened together, connecting it to why soap helps clean hands so effectively.
