How to use this worksheet
Look at the first picture together and say its name slowly and clearly, stretching out the middle sound so your child can hear the vowel. Show your child the vowel options listed for that picture, and have them circle the vowel they hear in the word. Continue through each picture the same way, encouraging your child to repeat the word slowly each time before choosing the vowel.

Celebrate correct answers enthusiastically, since accurate vowel identification is a real milestone in early phonics.
