How to use this worksheet
Look at one picture at a time and say its name slowly and clearly together, stretching out the vowel sound in the middle. Ask your child which vowel they hear — you can offer the five vowel sounds as a quick menu if they're unsure — before they circle the correct letter. Move through the page picture by picture rather than all at once, and have your child repeat the whole word aloud once they've circled their answer to confirm it sounds right.
